Kronprinz Panzer Commanders and First Legion Armor (1 Viewer)

If you're like me, you just can't get enough Panzer figures for your tanks. Kronprinz Panzer Commanders work great in First Legion tanks. Just got my order in and I am very pleased.

I am a big fan of them too. Have a couple of batches including more in winter parkas coming. I love that you can customize themm. Different camos, waffenfarbe and hat selections.

I couldn't agree more, the Kronprinz figures work very well with my FL Tiger as well as with my Figarti armour.

A couple of the tank commander figures I haven't seen, has Kronprinz released some new one's?

Thanks Mark, I just saw them on the KP website. Yeah, it will be interesting to see the winter versions. Apparently you can request existing figures to have there jackets painted in white for winter or so I have heard. I wonder if this will be the winter versions?? I need winter tank commanders and crew so I hope they will be available and/or can be requested.

To customize my figures I do the following:

1 Send email with what I want to their standard email address
2 Emilio confirms they can do it
3 I place order and add descriptions of customization to text box / comments box of order

When FL becomes aware of the business going to Kronprinz they will reissue the Panzer Kommanders IMO. I have requested that Emilio produce some Russian and US Tank Commanders for Figarti and FL Armor.

I'd buy some Russian and US tank commanders as well. The. British tank commander I have from Kronprinz looks great.

I hope so.. I mean , the FL tanker with the bino, everyone one needs a tanker with bino, you would think that would be a shoe in! Maybe also release some of the early AFVs as well..

I think not. We have our own plans and don't adjust them for the most part based on the activities of other companies. If folks are happy with Kronprinz tank commanders, by all means enjoy them. We've produced ours and some (apparently the ones in question) have sold out, others are still in stock. We will continue to produce more of them, but we will not go back and reissue old ones. That doesn't make any sense as it's far better for us to produce brand new figures than to remake something that many of our customers already have.

I think not. We have our own plans and don't adjust them for the most part based on the activities of other companies. If folks are happy with Kronprinz tank commanders, by all means enjoy them. We've produced ours and some (apparently the ones in question) have sold out, others are still in stock. We will continue to produce more of them, but we will not go back and reissue old ones. That doesn't make any sense as it's far better for us to produce brand new figures than to remake something that many of our customers already have.

Daruss; Kronprinze has a website where you can order figures direct via Paypal. I order my set of Panzer Kommanders direct from Emilio and they arrived in about 10 days. The website has excellent photos of all the Kronprinze figures. Prices are very reasonable considering the excellent quality. I paid $27.00 for a set of 2 half figures that fit my Figarti Panther G and Tiger I perfectly. Check my posts for photos.

A request by customers for a product should be at least considered in the interest of good customer relations IMO. The sculpts and masters are already done; what would a new production run cost? Perhaps a subscription project could motivate a new production run of Panzer Kommanders, if 50% was paid up front and a sufficient number of orders were placed. What number of orders would be required to interest FL in producing these figures Matt?

Now how about those Waffen SS Tank crews ? I've bought 2 FL Tigers and I need a **** crew worthy of manning them daddy-o ^&grin

First Legion should have provided Panzer Kommander figures with their Tiger I's at their high price point; almost twice the price of the Figarti Tiger I of equivalent quality. K&C and TCS include Kommander figures at a much lower price point with their Tiger I's. First Legion used to include figures with their armor; which offset the high prices a bit.

Well, to each his own..... I recently purchased FL's NOR069 German Tiger I directly from them at a very fair price of $ 295.00.
I haven't collected WWII for years, and only getting back into it because of the outstanding quality of First Legion.
I have no intention surrounding this little masterpiece with some other company's mediocre figures because they're cheaper or easily available.
Will happily wait for the release of the upcoming FL Tiger crew figures.......they will be worth it.
