Agree with you 100%. Waiting patiently for the the crew which I have no doubt will be superb like their Tigers.

Well, to each his own..... I recently purchased FL's NOR069 German Tiger I directly from them at a very fair price of $ 295.00.
I haven't collected WWII for years, and only getting back into it because of the outstanding quality of First Legion.
I have no intention surrounding this little masterpiece with some other company's mediocre figures because they're cheaper or easily available.
Will happily wait for the release of the upcoming FL Tiger crew figures.......they will be worth it.

First Legion should have provided Panzer Kommander figures with their Tiger I's at their high price point; almost twice the price of the Figarti Tiger I of equivalent quality. K&C and TCS include Kommander figures at a much lower price point with their Tiger I's. First Legion used to include figures with their armor; which offset the high prices a bit.

Katana, not sure what your dig is with First Legion??? you can't wait to compare this product vs. another and how so and so is so much better, never, ever fails, this is a open forum and being a forum it allows many opinions to be heard from all members, but in my humble opinion you have a personal grudge be it with Matt, or the brand itself, there is such thing as baiting on this forum and when it comes to First Legion you are in a league by yourself, you have taking someone's personal thread and turned into one of your "so and so is much better" thread, to be honest not sure why you are allowed to post on the First Legion section as others have been banned from certain sections of this forum for doing exactly what you do on a constant basis.

This thread is about use of Kronprinze Panzer Kommanders in the FL Tiger I and my comments have been about the use of alternative figures since FL has not released any figures suitable for the Tiger I as yet. Also given the fact that other manufacturers include figures with their Tiger I's I observed that at the FL Tiger I price point they should have included a figure. Guy's wonderful K&C thread got moved for the reason that there were other manufacturers being featured and that is one point raised by Sammy. Second, Matt has already given an answer based on sound business practice - and he is not Santa Claus. If you want to learn more about Matt's business, perhaps a phone call or email would be more appropriate.

I just think it is a mistake to miss out on the possibilities of the KP customized versions. I love looking for inspiration and submitting it to Emilio, Carmen and the crew, and then seeing the result.

Once you go custom, it is really hard to just accept the standard stuff.

My next KP order is going to ask for a Panzer Graff figure, and maybe a few other personalities. They won't be new sculpts (as far as I know), but they changes headgear, add a mustache and maybe make him a little bulkier with some grey hair.

Bravo! You describe the enjoyment that comes with embracing change. The ability to engage creatively with a manufacturer while staying within budget is a new facet of an ever changing hobby - and it is great fun. As an expansion rather than a replacement strategy, it is evidence of how this hobby grows, and it is just one of many new facets of a truly great hobby.

Just as a note of fairness in the pricing issue, On a separate forum Matt made the comment that NOR069 was cheaper than the previous two releases as it is only available directly from FL and for those of us living outside of the US the difference between FL and K&C WS344 when postage is taken into account will be considerably more than $6 US more so when you have a local dealer or direct from K&C and qualify for free postage.

Also K&C is a Winter tiger NOR069 is a Normandy so best get both
