Wayne You have have some really nice pieces and I have certainly enjoyed your pics. especially the Opel Blitz. I am a truck guy at heart though. You got lots of views but no comments on your pictures. Just a thought, feel free to tell me to go jump in a lake, i wont mind, but try a background. In some of your pics it is solid black and I find those pics are more interesting. They highlight your wonderful collection. but my eye is quickly drawn away to shelving or electrical appliances if they show up in the background. even if it is nothing more than a black curtain behind your scene it would showcase your subject so much more. You like to take shots at different angles. I do too. Have you considered a lazy Susan in front of a curtain to place your subject on that way you can rotate it any way you like and show off the terrific details. Just a few thoughts. Looking forward to seeing more of your great collection.

Thanks mate for the comments and advice,i know ive tried everything to hide the back ground but your idea sounds great and im off to get a lazy Susan and a black sheet from my GF,s house im sure she wont mind thanks again for the advice i enjoy taking pics of my collection apart from the day they arrive i enjoy photographing them the best part of this great hobby.

Now wait, not to fast my friend, that black sheet may be better utilized at your girlfriends house. haha.

Wayne, you really make great use of your dio boards. Always fun to look at your creations.

great little setup, trying to image what the meeting of these 2 Kubelwagen's might be transpiring. I always try to have a backdrop or if not possible, go closer to the subject matter to cut out the background, which than sometimes cuts some of the display. My son is able to use Photoshop on his photos where he can crop the photo & also superimpose back ground photo scenes, as he wishes, I am not that clever. Keep up the good work. Cheers, Robin.
