LAH 036 - Drum Horse "Sigrune" (1 Viewer)

I don't know, but I don't think it was a ton of them, seem to disappear sort of fast. Also, I know another oddity was it was sold in different boxes. The one I just sold was a later one in the silver LAH box with styrofoam. The earlier came in the very nice Red top boxes with cut foam I believe. Somebody else might know more than me. I do know it brought a great price for me $400.

how expensive was he? im still hoping we will be treated to an updated version at some point especially now they have released updated versions the LAH officer & riflemen!!!

I think the drum horse is one of the best K&C pieces ever done.

Congrats on your acquisition! This is one of my favorite K&C pieces, I get more compliments on that figure than just about any other in my collection...If only Andy would make a Napoleonic version!

Congrats Templar on your "new" addition. :D

Usually when I end up paying top dollar for one of my figures or sets, Usually one or both of the following will happen.

I will start seeing more of them that I ever saw when I was in the hunt for one and/or when I do see them that are for less than I paid for mine. I think that this must be one of those "Murphy Laws" or the "Collectors Lament" people refer to.

Minor interesting diversion on this thread. As I said, I recently sold my drum horse. Well, it was not without hassle and this story will prove how good most of us are in this hobby. For the first time, I mixed up addresses and sent the horse to the wrong buyer. I realized right away I had an issue. SO, I contacted all parties involved and lo and behold, cost me a couple shipping charges, but all parties received the right figures and I hope are happy! Honest mistake, but toy soldier people are generally very nice!

Tom, Your story reminded me of a similiar incident that I was involved in with fleabay. I was the winning bidder on an item and when the package arrived it was a vintage bowling shirt. Well you can only image my surprise because I'm NOT a vintage bowling shirt collector. LOL

I contacted the seller and I ended up sending the shirt on to the new owner and getting my package several days later. The seller reinbursed me for my shipping cost and all was finially made right.

On the other end of things, happened to me too! I received a $1000 vintage camera instead of a $25 Stonewall Jackson sculpture! I of course sent the camera back and all ended up good in the end!
