Hi Fellas,

I've always loved Greek mythology and the original Clash of the Titans movie. Been wanting to create a little scene with TG's Ancient Greeks and Medusa for some time.

That's cool, Steve. Nicely done. That TG figure has the perfect pose for your battle scene.

In 1980, I got a free poster with the purchase of a book order. It pictured 10 mythical creatures by Carlos Victor Ochagavia. Had it hanging in my room as a kid "back in the day".

Great stuff and inspiration for other scenes.

Some nice ideas there guys, the good news is that soon you wont need to use a backdrop picture for Medusa as we have our own version coming soon. Here she is in all her glory turning a would be assassin to stone. These figures are already in paint stage and should be here first quarter of 2022. There will be other figures to follow inc Medusa's sisters and a few other surprises for fans of this era.

The face was inspired by this lady below, I have to admit it would be quite a way to go at the hands of her!

Yes they look good.
Also I would think a few skeleton warriors and Hydra along with a Jason figure would be popular !
Happy New Year !

How cool! Had no idea before posting this topic. Can't wait for Medusa and hero which I think will be well-liked figures among collectors. I'm really glad to see TG delve into this mythological theme/sub-theme. Great stuff!

Also agree re. the inspiration model/woman. Reminds me of Lair of the White Worm.

Out of curiosity, was wondering what kind of shield pattern on the hero (Perseus)? Any colors in mind yet? What a great pose I might add.

Its going to be a Spartan Lambda design on the shield Rob, we will post pics soon of the finished products once we can get to the photographers.
Thanks

I'm really excited about these new figures. Looking forward to seeing the painted versions.

Great photos Rob, as usual. And these releases are super exiting.
I love the Ancient Greek stuff

With John Jenkins Trojan Wars and future Greek/Macedonian releases and now this line of figures it seems the Greek world, both actual and mythical is well catered for. I did like the TG Greek/Persian releases and hope these continue - Greek shields were awesome. But then there is so much to like about the ancient world. Any chance of fighting Egyptians, Hittites, Assyrians and Sea Peoples? Or am I just being self centered and greedy for more Bronze age figures!

Happy New Year TG.

Gary

Good one. I passed on this one simply because she is too darn scary {eek3}, but good to see someone else has no qualms. Robin.
