Thanks mate. Its pretty basic compared to the K&C version but its ok,have started an undercoat and have some more of those paints we talked about winging their way to me now.(plus brushes, weathering, sprays and any other shiny thing that caught my eye-i can see how easy it is to get hooked on this modelling thing!)

That is an interesting craft, who is it by?
KCUK sold it about 2 years ago. Sctatch-built and made of balsa wood. I have the LCM3 version. You can see the LCM3 version in Gordon's latest diorama set up for the jetty side by side with the upcoming KC LCA release.

Are you done yet Rob ?
Now I remember, that is a pretty sharp looking craft. I was going to buy one of those but picked up one from Gideon instead.
Here is a shot of the one of got from him.
Mine is land-locked for the moment!
These really look terrific, you guys certainly got a nice item!
.................................Ooooooo, the mahogany LCVP! Looks terrific with the figures in it.
You know, the only reason people mostly rejected it was because it was not made by K&C. Yeah, it was pricey but it is/was fantastic.
If it had been made by K&C in wood it would have been this specific model and it would be worth - what? - $1500 now?
Amazing what a catalog picture makes something worth these days.
