Not sure if this is old news or not, but rumor on the net is another Landing Craft in the works.

Speaking of landing craft, have you seen the three different wood ones made in South Wales advertised on the King & Country U.K. website as K&C compatible? They look terrific. I haven't the room or the inclination to start going outside of the K&C world for items, but they sure look tempting.

Yep, actually discovered them a couple of weeks ago. They do look great and am tempted myself. I'd love to do a large D-day diorama with them and would certainly jump on them if I already didn't have the K&C Landing Craft.
Just speculation on my part but I imagine a future landing craft from K&C will follow a similar paint scheme to that of the latest Amtrack.

Where did you hear the rumor about the new landing craft? You might want to ask Shannon, as the dealer dispatches might give a hint if there is any basis to the rumor.

By the way, it also mentions another paint scheme for the recently retired 88.

Thanks for the link. I saw that reference to a new paint scheme for the 88mm. What about the book of Andy's drawings! I wonder if this is the long awaited history of King & Country. Either way, I'll buy a copy.

I get the dealer updates and never saw anything to indicate that Andy is thinking of redoing these two pieces. I'm pretty sure that he will at some point but he has made no announcements.

Andy posted the other day that he was not making either. I had also heard the rumor but I guess it never will become reality. I would love to have gotten the 88 in winter.
