Being Sunday morning, I was most surprised with the knock on the front door and my parcel arrived with :

Landwehr infantry, the Westphalians by Thomas Gunn Miniatures

These are great figures, finely detailed with a variety of packs and side arms (swords, bayonets and axes) and very nicely painted.

Well Done Tom, and I'm now looking forward to the coming year, when more from this regiment will join my battlefield.

Wonderful additions! Are you thinking of picking up the Silesians too?
Cheers,
Brendan

They look very nice! Just missing the officer to complete the set.

These really are well done, went over big at the recent Annandale toy soldier show, excellent sculpts, poses and paint jobs. An officer, drummer and standard bearer would be nice to complete both units.

I am wishing TGM all the best with these, hope they sell really well for them, nice to see outside the box thinking with Napoleonics.

If they sell well, would love to see Prussian Infantry, as well as Uhlans, Cuirassiers, Hussars and Dragoosn as well as an artillery piece.

Expanding on that, would also love to see Austrian infantry in shakos as well as again Uhlans, Cuirassiers, Hussars and Dragoons.

They are close in size to First Legion, Kronprinz and Britains, so just expand on what those three have done and fill in the holes around their ranges and you're in business.

The 1809, 1812, 1813 and 1814 campaigns in Austria, Russia, Germany and France respectively were large affairs, they deserve attention for collectors who want to dive into those campaigns.

No, I got these figures because I already have some Silesians in my collection from other makers castings that I have painted and I was looking for something different.

I'd rather keep my 'hard earned' funds for future releases of NAPs :)
