Large Civil War Collection (not my listing) (1 Viewer)

I doubt it will sell, he needs to split it up which is more work but he could make more money.

Also he doesn't know anything about them or if they are in the right boxes but his price was calculated from eBay prices makes no sense.

I agree, but if someone used tactical bargaining skills and the best offer tool, they could get a '$2000 mystery box{sm4}%^V'! Something along the lines of,
"I get the sense this is not your area of expertise, and that you might not know everything that is there. I also know that it will probably be hard to sell the whole unknown lot at that price, and it would have to be split up, which would be a time consuming and difficult process for a non-toy soldier enthusiast. If you tell me how many figures are in the collection, I will pay a little less than market price for the whole thing, at $7 per figure."
Or something that would be a good deal for both involved.

Looks like the Building and Bridge Are from the Conte Longest Day World War II Playset....I'd make him an offer on the bridge but not close enough to $4500 to be considered a "best offer"

Really. Give me a break on this one. I see this auction not selling at all.

How can someone lay down that much $$$$...

you don't even know what he's selling...

I agree, you can't even see what's in most of the boxes. He needs to sell them individually or in small lots.

Morning Sandor!

Looks like he's letting folks cherry pick and buy stuff out of the photos individually while the listing's running, such as the bridge. You already don't even know what you're bidding on, let alone what might be actually left the moment you buy it. A little more of an act of faith then even I'm willing to go...

An interesting lesson in auction etiquette.

I guess the wife might be a little loud in her insistence they go from the "dinning" room. ^&grin
