I hope you don't mind Guy, but seeing your thread, reminded me of our NZ Armed Forces preforming a Haka at the same locate on ANZAC day this year as a mark of respect for the fallen. Here's the clip for anyone interested.

While posted to Germany (years ago) a detachment from our Regiment travelled up to the Menin gate. We paraded beside the gate and were brought to attention for reveille. When I looked up, right in front of me were names of the fallen from my old Regiment (Northumberland Fusiliers) While reveille sounded, I had great difficulty retaining my composure.

Been to many Last post ceremonies at the Menin Gate over the years and never failed to be really moved by them, it really is something anyone visiting the Western Front should see.
