Pete...

you have beautiful displays...

I love your groundwork in both of your dios...

a great grouping on the Grenadiers...

the Gordons too...

you might call it "The Last Stand Of The Gordons"...hahaha...

but that Gatling gun might turn the tide and save them...

Think I have some catching up to do to match your displays though!

Pete,

Excellent displays, love the Sudan - I have the exact same setup awaiting the Fuzzy Wuzzies!

Very creative way to display on shelf with the frames...somehow seems to contain the scene and draw the focus on the figures. I think I may play with your concept on a few of my shelves.
Thanks for the idea

Very nicely done. I don't think I've seen a display done exactly the way you did it, with the photos on the sides. Some good ideas there.

Really cool set-ups Pete. I like how you have used the photo backgrounds and some inexpensive materials (I am guessing possibly free from around the yard) to cover the ground and make nice looking displays. Doesn't look too contrived and really shows off the figures. :)

Very nice dios. Isn't the 44th always making some sort of last stand? Bad habit to develope. -- Al

Thanks for all the comments about the displays!

I think the backdrops add a bit of depth to them.
Also they break up the monotony of the cabinet back and sides I think.

I like 'cheap' for the groundwork......bark chippings, potting compost, vermiculite, gravel and white glue!!!!!

Pete
