I have joined many bandwagons over the course of my life but seem to regularly arrive quite late.

I regularly taped a program on Foxtel and would set the timer to run an extra twenty minutes so would usually catch the start of The Graham Norton Show. I had never watched it and had only a very slight awareness that it even existed. The show is hilarious. The same with Entourage - ten years old and I finally caught some episodes and really enjoyed it. I was even late to the part for Seinfeld after having listened to a very negative review.

Agree on Norton as some shows have been very good. Jimmy Fallon also good.

Since you are late to catch up may I suggest you look out for a series called Sharpe ^&grin Made 20 years ago when you were fresh out of Uni. You may be familiar with the lead actor, Sean Bean, who is more recently famous for Game of Thrones (another party you have missed {sm2}).

I am a regular late to the party on some shows. Some series I have learnt about on here. One was Game of Thrones which everbody was talking about. I was so far behind I ended up watching series 1-3 in about a week last year. Managed to not get into Breaking Bad and my two kids cant understand how I could not have watched it (ie. a bit like me thinking how odd people are who have not watched Game of Thrones !!).

One that has just started on ABC on Sundays is World Without End based on book by Ken Follet. If you liked Pillars of the Earth you will like this one. King Edward III times.

Murder in Paradise just started so gotta go as the curry has also magically appeared {sm4}

Nice thread starter Jack! I'm regularly late to the party and generally stumble across stuff like the Walking Dead & now Breaking Bad to name a few. Also came across an LA cop series awhile ago late one night called 'Southland'. Personally speaking I found it grittier than most other US cop shows and far more watch-able than the usual 'serial killer' drama's. Bit of a shame it's been canned after about 5x series.

As for Graham NORTON, he's a bit of a hoot, does anyone remember him doing an episode of 'Father Ted' as the youth leader stuck in a caravan with Ted and co?

Agree on Southland. Had never heard of it until caught at about midnight which seemed to be its time slot. Deserved a better time slot.

I am particularly not a fan of Criminal Minds where the story lines have all become fairly grim. Not my idea of entertainment and can understand why Mandy Patinkin decided to leave the show.

Is that Death in Paradise ... if so, an excellent show. I really enjoyed it. Came across it almost by accident. Hard to believe one of the coppers was the cat from Red Dwarf. For those who have not seen the show my description of him as the cat does not identify me as a 60s hippie wannabe. He played a cat.

......I don't know about the 60's thing Jack, but a little birdy told me you used to drive a bright orange VW Combi van, wear tye dired tee shirts and go barefoot most days......:tongue:^&grin

Yeah they did the same time here Brett and played the series late over here too, however a friend picked me up the series from the US and sent it to me. As for Criminal Minds, CSI and all those other similar shows, I simply can't watch that stuff; they are so far removed from real police work that I end up laughing too much.
