Ana Donzino has announced a new glossy company from Argentina to be carried by Treefrog:

"Sweet Moments is a new line made by Laura Cuello miniatures. Laura is our Master Painter for Honour Bound, a member of Southland Miniatures, and our niece. All civilians, the first scene she is representing is The Beach 1900, and she already has a bunch of characters released for the first group.

Her website http://www.lauracuello.com.ar/ is under construction now. It will be online in 3/4 weeks (Laura Cuello Miniatures). Again, Treefrog Treasures already have them in stock so you can order through them any time."

I think collectors of the civilian lines made by Imperial, ATS, Tradition, Wm. Hocker, and Britain's Petticoats will find this of interest.

Maybe somewhat reminiscent of Trophy's Town and Country in a small way.

At first glance they look very good and definitely in the same sort of style as Imperial. Collectors of Civilian subjects or those that collect the likes of ATS etc as previously mentioned will be attracted to this range as civilian figures are becoming harder to find. I particularly like the lady and girl pieces. Any idea of prices and whether they will be included in time on the Tree Frog catalogue list on the left hand side of the website under the company name, because at the moment, despite the confirmation that they are available now there is no link to them on the home page. Will they be listed as Laura Cuello or under either Southland or Honour Bound given her connections to these manufacturers? It would also be interesting to know what other civilian subjects Laura might have in the pipeline for future additions to the range.

Finally, I am also a regular writer for Toy Soldier Collector magazine here in the UK and would be happy to review these figures for the magazine if you can let me have actual product lists, prices release dates, magazine quality photos etc. Actual samples of the range would be even better to get a real feel for what the figures look like, but only if you are able to spare them. Anyway let me know what you think of this suggestion.

I can let you have my personal contact details if you want to pursue this or alternatively you can get them from the members list and PM me that way.

Kind Regards

My guess is they will be under "Sweet Moments" since that is the name of Laura's site. You might want to PM Ana-she is under Ana Donzino on the members list http://www.treefrogtreasures.com/forum/member.php?u=13

I have forwarded the question to Shannon and she will answer in due course.

Cheers Brad,

I'll look forward to Shannon's reply in due course.

These are absolutely beautiful. My first impression reminded me of Imperial. Very nicely done, thanks for the heads up Randy.

Martin,

Email me your personal details and I will have Laura send a few samples for you to review and keep.

Thanks, :)

Ana

Just waiting for one more piece of information and then I'll give you all the whole scoop (including links to the webpages!)...we are hoping to have everything up and ready in the next few hours.

Okay, the pages and photos are up on the Frog. I have officially announced the range here.
I look forward to collector feedback on this delightful new range.
