I never purchased the FL mounted Longstreet as I found the "saluting" pose far too specific to use in a diorama (one would need a number of other ACW figures to return Longstreet's salute especially as he was a Lt General and currently they are not available). I required a much more versatile mounted Longstreet and subsequently, converted a W Britain's old ACW figure as shown in the background of this next shot.

I always thought the FL Lee was terrific looking. I also agree with you about the pose of General Longstreet as I was never really thrilled with the salute. I really hope FL does some dismounted personalities!

I have them both and will post a photo this weekend (as I don't think your question was fully answered). However, the photos on the FL website do the figures justice.

Amazing diorama !

The 'perspective' of the photo gives great depth...so many figures tied to the General in the scene...covered bases...great !
