I'm an avid reader of all things related to early American history (R Atkinson's next book due out in May), the ACW and WWII. So I recently read Lee Miller's War, a collection of her photos and narrative put together by her son. She was a high society model and photographer becoming a renown WWII journalist. Kate Winslet produced and starred in the movie Lee depicting L Millers war time exploits. I thought the movie okay, not great. But I disliked the woke scenes with an African American infantry major in command at St Malo. Miller has pictures of the major in her book, and he ain't (sic) black. This continuing contrivance to distort history is annoying to say the least.

Funny how we in the West have to take all this bull, like everything that ever went wrong in the entire history of the world is our fault, and every invention that has ever help mankind develop is not.
And yet !!!

I watched this one. Another Hollywood flick promoting a woke cause. Men are evil! Tiresome and boring to watch. There is an excellent Disney movie called "Young Woman and the Sea" that demonstrates how the topic of discrimination should be addressed. "Number 24" is a fantastic WWII movie on Netflix.
