Thanks for the update Brad. I really would like to get the sutler set sometime but I am in no hurry. After not buying anything for a while the retirement announcement by Britains put me in a buying mode. So needless to say the defense budget is kaput for now.

better late than never - I recently came into a LeMans metal Civil War redoubt..Many pieces and add-ons to it. Very heavy but great addition to any diorama. You can find an online catalog and price listing for them online under Spillwaytoysoldiers.homestead.com

P.S. - Don Weil sold parts of his collection. LeMans were just a few of them. He has nothing to do with LeMans Soldier company, only collected some.

I bumped this thread on LeMans for 2 reasons:

(1) I just read about LeMans toy soldiers in another thread and was curious.

(2) Sometimes, it is faster to get results searching the forum using Google than the Search tab.

Would someone be so kind as to clarify "LeMans" for me please?

There is a toy soldier manufacturer who makes LeMan's toy soldiers 54mm gloss figures mainly ACW, AWI and FIW. I know one of the dealers is Spillway Toy Soldiers in NY.

Then, there is a LeMans toy soldier shop in NJ mentioned in another thread.

Both appear to have an origin in Texas. Are these 2 separate entities ?
