Leningrad front (2 Viewers)

Ok enough Poppo!

Get over here and help me with some ground work on my displays!!

Your sand and snow work has really got me ready to go to the hobby store and start doing this.

Great Job again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ludwig

Very nice, it gives that cold and barren feeling that you had by the frozen lake in the Leningrad siege!

Thank you .....yes, I think the feeling of cold is also given by the white helmet repaint to be honest...The original deep green was a very warm colour!!

Ludwig

Thank you again Ludwig!!!.....Yes, I also think that an appropriate ground gives a huge over value to the beauty of the soldiers putting them in a realistic situation ( especially by hiding the bases). And a little dust or snow details on them when needed, making the colours more natural and the soldiers become alive! I watch hundreds of historical photos on google images and professional dios and try to get the same effect :tongue:

Very well done!!!!!....Looking at your dio almost brings tears to my eyes...a couple of weeks ago my Steyr 1500 Funkwagen rolled off the shelf he was sitting on and took a 2mtr nose-dive to the floor!!..Total devastation....i invented quite a few new names for myself at that moment..
Oh well "bite the bullet" and buy a new one!!!....Now i have super-glued all my KC vehicles with rolling wheels.....not really..just joking!!!.

Steve

Thank you Steve! I know what it is! I had the same experience with a CS panther ( and it was not me who let it fall!!!), but hopefully a tank is more solid than a truck so I could repair it with some glue and hide the damages rather well {sm2} ( you ll see it in a dio which I will post in future).

"Poppo":

Very nice small diorama indeed! Making up dioramas adds a great deal to our hobby.

"Iron Brigade"

Thank you "Iron Brigade", yes this hobby helps me to relax and to make my mind clean, watching alive history arond me all day....It is like the "japanese gardens" for japanese people :eek:

Excellent ground work with the snow, looks the part! Thanks for posting.....{bravo}}

Craig

Nice Job....Go in your back yard and grab a twig and add a winter tree to your scene with some snow on it.....that will put it ovet the top. Alex

I have added a couple of figures and changed the scene positions.
