Those figures are pretty amazing, particularly the Holmes and Watson diorama. I don’t even want to thank about the price.

I've visited this shop a couple of times on my visits to Paris and loved the experience of seeing SO many figures crammed into such a small shop..... Wonderful :)

These are from my 2017 trip ...

Looks like a treat. Great idea. I heard you can now book overnights in Versailles. So I am tempted returning to Paris.

This is a great store! I bought nearly 50+ TS there 15+ years ago. With the duty free and the bulk purchase I was able to negotiate things and get a good deal (speaking French was helping too!). I still go there each time I am back in France just for the fun as I have enough NAP TS now for my eyes pleasure in my collection (nearly 600 now) :smile2:

I loved this shop in Paris. Proprietor wears a leather apron. He has the Gepetto look well cultivated.

There was another smaller toy soldier shop run by a lady who speaks English.

This is a great store as well near St Sulpice. I have been there once years ago but that day the owner was smoking a cigar in the store...Not sure if he is still alive. There is a cool YouTube video on their site: // Au plat d'Etain // Soldats de plomb et figurines de collection depuis 1775 à Paris (soldats-plomb-au-plat-etain.fr) That store has been there since 1775 and I recognized the second lady with the ponytail: she used to work at Les Drapeaux de France years ago...Small world...

Has anyone ordered from their website recently? I was looking at it, and it seems that most of their items are listed as out of stock.

I always go 'Window Shopping' here when I visit Paris ..... wonderful :)

These figures look like they come from V.I.D. who makes them specially for this shop.

This is what I saw in the window on my last visit ... 2017.

An anyone read the price tag attached to one of the volunteers for the revolution? Does anyone know if the pictured figures are plastic or metal?
Thanks

Smashing posts - looks like a great shop. Let us hope it is still there for the foreseeable future.

Can't see many redcoats on display... maybe they don't have much call for them ^&grin

They are metal and as I stated previously, these are made by V.I.D. which is a Ukrainian company and Dmitry posts images of his new figures in this Forum.
Maybe you can contact him (PM?) and enquire and so buy direct.

I've cropped that front figure from my photo and I can see the price tag of Eu95.

I did that when wanting castings of these figures below, and so I got this group and painted them about 2 years ago.
