There does seem to be a reduction in the shows in the US, Texas and the West Coaster, am I right? Are there now only Chicago and the East Coaster? Is this just for 2019?

Yes, you are generally correct. However, there is still the MFCA in May, some smaller shows in New Jersey and other states.

We actually have a large number of US based toy soldier shows.

Florida in January, Atlanta and Annandale VA in February, NJ in March, Indy, Woburn, MFCA and Gettysburg in April, Virginia and Ohio in May, Annandale in June, NJ in August, Annandale, Alexandria and Chicago in September, Chicago, Woburn and Hackensack in October, Long Island in November and Annandale in December, that's 20 shows to attend, spread out from as far north as Woburn MA, as far South as Florida and as far West as Chicago...………………...

Is the Westcoaster history ?:confused:^&confuse{sm5}

The last post from Mike Tarantino on the subject in early December was "situation in doubt." I will email him to see if there is anything definitive.

1) For the first time ever, they did not hand out vendor contracts for the next show (i.e., 2019) at the end of the 2018 show. 2) Neither Craig nor Woodie responded to my phone calls last summer regarding the 2019 show. I have known these guys for at least 20 years. 3) I had heard rumors regarding the show's demise and the reasons for it, but I did not think it was my place to say anything since they were rumors rather than substantiated facts. It is a shame that after 28 years, it looks like it has run its course.

Unfortunately, without generational relief will be the end of this hobby:redface2:
