Andrew,

Those are beautiful figures! Already, you have a great collection of John Jenkins figures. You must be very proud of them, and with good reason! Thank you for showing them to us.

And,...thank you, Brad, for helping Andrew share them with us.

Warmest personal regards,

Pat :)

WOW! Great collection! all you need to do now is make yourself some background scenery and you,ll have an awsome diorama. All you need to do is get some of that pink foam and green floral foam some glue and some of that rail road grass and dirt, some moss, some dried flowers twiggs sticks, ect. and make some back grounds.
I like to make mine in smaller movable pieces so I can change them around all the time.
I have some of those roll up sheets of grass and just roll that out and set up all my trees and bushes on that and use some of that baged moss you get in the craft stores and put a bit of that stuff here and there and before you know it you have some cool scenery going and it fun to make scenery with that foam stuff also.
You can make rocks hills mountains ect. and small twiggs, sticks and dried flowers stick right into the foam and look like small trees and bushes. Give it a try.

Andrew

Great collection I will shoot some pictures of my guys and send them to brad.

Now we know where all the BM-02's went :D

Thanks All,

All I need now are some BM-01's, I have 4 coming from Italy due Monday. (Do not ask what I paid for them  )

A QR-01 and WIM-03 & 04, I have them coming from the USA.

I also have a CAN-02 but it got damage in transit, I hope to get it replaced. :(

fishead19690 I have all the scenery on its way from JG and Build A Rama, logs, trees, wagon, grass, rocks, shrubs and banks. The photo's were just a quick set up.

I will post more when I get it all together.

I need to find some good river/stream scenery anyone one got some recommendations.

Aussie Monty :)

Great info on the streams - are they big enough for the JJ canoes??

George asked me to post this. This was his display at the Secaucus show back in March. Heck of a nice job.

Thanks Brad for posting those for me.

Its a small display - once I get the canoes I will have to move to a larger shelf.

Here’s my setup so far. I should be adding some trees in the next few weeks.

I sent an email off to JR to ask about the actual sizes of their streams. The larger ones should make good streams for 54mm but might be smallish for rivers and such so I'll let them get back to me on if the 54mm canoe will fit (it should but they know their line of streams better than I do lol)

Wow those are really nice its very difficult to maintain my focus looking at all of these great sets.

All the best

Dave

flexible river sections are 3.75" wide total- 3.25" looks to be 'water' with .25" for each bank edge

Come on Guys - Lets see you displays !!

Dont leave these wonderful men in boxes in your closets.

Hi Guys,

I've always had a great interest in this conflict since it was fought in my back yard. I grew up in New England and the town I lived in was attacked and some places were burned by Indians allied to the French. These figures are very interesting to me but I will have to resist the temptation and stay focused on my Durbar display.

All the best

Dave
