I always thought K&C's Normandy Village buildings had an artistic style and have truly enjoyed utilizing them in many scenes. After several years, I appreciate the return to Normandy with the new 'Liberation' figures this 80th anniversary of D-Day. My figures are also celebrating a birthday milestone (earlier this week).

Here's to the Liberation of France by Allied Forces and a great generation of veterans, along with those that endured the hardships of WWII.

Thanks K&C for fabulous pieces commemorating the 80th (and the many pieces from years past)!

Hey Robin,
Your comment makes me think of the colors of the civilians, much brighter than those from the Fields of Battle collection (i.e. refugees). With various military shades of green and brown, they provide a nice contrast certainly offering bright (and happier) scenes as you mention.

Nobody in the picture is giving out those negative waves.

I have not got the flower shop, as did not think it would go with all the others, which i do have, but seeing the picture i realise there is a back door and am really tempted now to get one.

The corner flower shop is a great little piece. Detailing is superb and I've always liked the side door. Here's a previous shot showing the little green door:
