Hi Guys,
Here’s another advance preview of a unique Allied Landing Craft that K&C have produced in the past... but never in this particular version... until now!
Although the vast majority of Royal Navy landing craft at Normandy were the British-built LCA’s (Landing Craft Assault) a number of American manufactured ‘Higgins Boats’ or LCVP’S (Landing Craft Vehicle Personnel) were lend-leased to the Royal Navy and served wearing the distinctive RN-style colour scheme and with a crew of Royal Navy matelots.
All the best and happy collecting!
Andy
