As Andy with K&C have done other movie inspired figures wondering whether they'd consider releasing a Life of Brian range as would be fun and also add to their Life of Jesus and Romans Ranges. Would certainly add to such scenes as mine.
Might even find who's being doing the anti Roman graffiti !^&grin

As I usually say with all suggestions...'Always look on the bright side of life!'
Best wishes,
Andy.

Oh ya' ... who wouldn't want an entire collection of the Judean Peoples Front Suicide Squad ...

Silly Sods! ^&grin

Yeah ! An elite cohort of them would soon see the Romans off. A cruel Centurion twisting the ear of an illiterate graffiti artist would be good too !

Of course, Steve, if Andy produces a "Life of Brian" then I would insist that he also makes a Monty Python "Holy Grail" series.
I would be totally in for a set of "Knights who say Ni"

Would such series need to be licensed from the production companies that produced the movies?

Prost!

Conte did a lot of sets that were movie derived such as Spartacus, The Patriot, The Warlord.

So I guess Andy has some idea if he was even to consider doing such a range as he has already done and continues doing the Saving Private Ryan sets, Where Eagles Dare, Kelly's Hero's and JJD look set to follow Conte with what looks like The Patriot inspired figures.
And then there are companies who copy Batman,Tin Tin,Dan Dare, the list goes on !

But I expect it would be different for a Life of Brian range, which I doubt would ever be made, as when the film was made it caused a lot of controversy with some as to whether it was blasphemous or not and can you imagine if K&C or any other maker were even to consider doing a range representing the life of Mohamed !
Well we've all heard of the outrages of bombings and murders of people who have, even when no ill intention was meant.

I guess some things will remain taboo for these reasons, such as it would be reprehensible if some one started making Concentration camp victims ! How could anyone ever justify making money out of that !

I'm well aware of Monty Python Larry. Notwithstanding, many manufacturers disregard trademark/copyright law when marketing products. For example, if you sell Batman figures without having a license or permission to do so, you leave yourself open to liability. I won't address examples that I see in the toy soldier business.

Not only is this a great idea for Life of Brian, think of all the money we can save with a Holy grail version, not having to purchase mounted figures on horseback. I am sure Andy can sculpt coconuts much cheaper.
I will place my pre order for the African swallow now.:smile2:

You prove Brad's (jazzeum's) point.

Prost!

I'm afraid that I hope a "Life of Brian" range does not see the light of day!
