I know that our kind friend the Neville’s have offered to let people order the Charge of the Light Brigade soldiers from them and then they will bring them to Chicago for pickup. This would save us all customs and shipping charges. My questions is would it be possible to find out how much each set would cost in US dollers if I take advantage of this kind offer?

I think all you have to do is go to the UK website, find the set you want and do the conversion. Use www.xe.com for that. In the aggregate, I think it comes out to around $500.

Please remember acouple of things here on prices against those you guys are used to in the States.

1, these items are exclusive to K&C UK and the concept is from yours truley with the expert design work of Andy at K&C brining my ideas to life.
2, We still have to buy them from K&C and also pay for ALL the development and design costs
3, There is import duty and VAT for items coming into the UK
4, VAT will be taken back off for non EU countries.

If you budget $500 bucks you will be very close.......well close enough for cash in Chicago

Please allow a small fluctuation for credit card people to take a small bit as well.

We have two large box's being shipped for general sale, and so far we have a good number of pre orders.......PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO OBLIGATION TO BUY IF YOU PRE ORDER. It just ensures you have a set for you if you so wish and it will not be sold with the general sets.

Brad no remember the UK prices you see on our site will then be less UK VAT (Value Added Tax) currently at 17.5%.

making the set in UK pounds £267.9 if you work on $2 to the £1UKP that is $535 for the set.

Like all good English SUVINERS come and see me and we will see what we can do. We take Euros, pounds, Those wishy washy things called Dollers, Small children that pack box's well.........dont offer us Wives we are all married and as we all know (Shannon Excluded) one is enough!

I don't think the Nevilles need any help in selling this and I am picking mine up in Chicago but you are saving shipping fees and I don't think that's a bad thing.

I think it is a very fair deal and shipping does add quite a bit to the cost. It is great of the Nevilles to do this.

We have fingers crossed that the masters will be with us in Chicago, Andy and his team are working hard on this. We are then looking at the shipment hitting the UK shores for end of November so that they are on sale at The Toy Soldier Show London on the 1st December 2007.

I will be with Andy in Hong Kong in October to talk about the 3rd series and the design.....we have already talked about it!!
