Lincoln Log Figures (1 Viewer)

Glad you enjoyed the photos! You are correct on the Dinky, I will post a few pictures of the shelf above which has a nice group of Dinky Military.

The picture above the GG1 Engine is actually a photo frame which I use to store Mint old Dinky Catalogs from the 1950's. It makes it easy to enjoy them without them getting handled. I have other copies I use for reference.

I'm always glad when someone enjoys the photos, as I always enjoy photos of other members collections, and Dens!:)

Here are a couple of photos of Dinky Toys wonderful scale model vehicles

very popular when I was growing up in the 1950's-1960's.

First is an assortment of their Military Series.

Second is a small group with a much older Die Cast Vehicle in back.

Last we have a Mint older catalog in a Frame.

Thanks again Njja,
It's really a lot of fun. I love the Dinky Toys, yet in some way the catalogs are even better. I especially like the ones of the vehicles on the expressway, and those at the Esso station.
Then there is your shelf with all the Dinky army vehicles. The truck in the middle of the middle shelf is the kind my father drove during WWII, at least I always thought so. I'm not so sure now that I'm looking at the photo more closely.

Oh, forgot to mention that the black and white photo is of my father somewhere in Europe, probably in England. He looks a bit too spit and polish for Italy, France and the rest.

Yes that has always been one of my favorite Dinky's since I was a child.

Known simply as Army Covered Wagon #623 its a great little model!

Great photo of your Dad!
