Tony,

Is the Tommy from the Arnhem set? Your dad mentioned to me last week there would be a club figure related to Arnhem put up to bid?

brad
One made for us in '96 and yes fits in with the Arnhem set has a certificate number 16 again from K&C UK

Tony

Tony,

You may finally have something for sale I haven't seen. What exactly is this Arnhem club figure? Are the photos up on you website yet? It was great having your dad come to the Symposium. Maybe you can join him next year.

Regards,

Louis

Louis,

It starts on the 18th, Mike told me, and it looks like there will be some serious competition for that figure. I am interested as I know Kevin (pandagen) and you are. Looks like I don't have a chance with the two of you:(

louis

It was the K&C UK collectors club figure. And at that time we did not have the data base we have now.
pic will be up at weekend (if my bro gets his finger out)
Only 60 made!!!

I had to stay behind and run the K&C UK show unfortunatly. We are both in Chicago though.

The last figures were in 2004, referenced as 03-CIV, 03-NAP and 03-MIL. They decided that people were less interested in being confined to a particular club figure. Instead you'll get a voucher which is based upon the amount spent between January and January on a year-to-year basis. Iwould have preferred the club figure to continue but with the international club being established I suppose it couldn't continue as a special case treatment for UK club collectors.

It's interesting they only made 60. That shows the smaller collector base at the time. Nowadays, it would be a lot larger.

Hi Bob,
Turns out I have one of these figures and have wondered about it's origin for years? Is this a repaint of another figure from another set? if so can you identify the other?
Thanks,
Ray

Hi Ray,

It's the AN 011, which is quite rare in itself:

The little Tommy is at £99 as we speak with 1hr 45mins left.

Brad/louis whats the best you have seen a single figure go for on e-bay.

The rest of the items are very high are they up to where you would expect?

Would apreciate some feedback as new to all this but want to place a bid if it is worthwhile

Monty,

The highest I've seen an individual figure is $300 for Chaplin. This too is rare but I just don't feel like paying that much.

Which sets do you want feedback on? I'll look it up as we speak.

I also see the club figure is AN 011. That's only appeared once on ebay in the last year and it went at $213.49, equivalent to 122.87 Pounds.

Brad cheers

The ones i am interested in are:-

Arnhem set 2 £195
DD15 £100
FJ5 £135
WSS12 £90
WSS27 £60
WSS3 £109

All the above are the current bids with around 1 hour to go.

the WSS's i am more interested in than the others as started my collection on the WSS

Cheers

Monty

Monty,

AN 002 - Price is all over the map lately ($355 to $625) so it's hard to predict.

DD 15 - Only been on ebay once, $200.

WS 12 - Averaging out between $150 and $170.

WS 27 - Between $150 and $200. If you can get it for $175, that's probably not bad.

WS 03 - I recently paid $275 and glossy or not they range between $250 and $300. However, the glossy version is not that easy to find.

Good luck and cheers. Xe.com can do the conversions for you. One thing to keep in mind is that the people who bid on Live Bid are not necessarily the same people who bid on ebay so the ultimate prices may not necessarily correlate.
