Looking forward to seeing as many as poss of you on the day, as you know we parade at 12.30 in the bar, so come along and say hi if you get the chance.

Cheers

I'll be looking forward to all the images and comments from the Show to me when I log on to the Forum on the next Sunday Morning, so keep up the good work guys!

I have a couple of my friends scouring the tables getting a few 'goodies' for me, and to collect some orders for me.

Wish I could be there again, but March and June shows are not possible... maybe December IF some far distant plans come into place ???????

Enjoy ( and I know you all will)

John

Every London Show is a special event on this forum.
By now I know, as many others, that you guys who are actually participating the event, are doing the very best coverage possible, wether it be for new Toy Soldiers or events at the bar ^&grin
Every London Show weekend is a highlight on this forum thanks to the great coverage of fellow members.
Thanks much in advance!

Guys,

I'm sure those of us with cameras on the day will do our best to continue the coverage as best we can. There is no doubt about it that the London shows are a highlight of the collecting year for those of us who have become friends in that bar over the years, just a pity its only three times a year!:wink2:

I remember one year sitting up until 3am posting pics, even my Cats thought I was crazy!^&grin

Will be in the Canaries on the 19th of this month (that's for Simon's benefit as he always asks me to bring him back a pot of sand) but will be back in time for the show. Purchased my rail tickets this very morning as whilst I'm quaffing a few G&T's with my good pals of the Frogger Brit Brigade- Mrs Reb will be indulging herself in Westfield Shopping Mall and with her own credit cards.

I have a shopping list for a number of items but am particularly excited as David Marshall will have my commission on show on the TMT table. He has built for me a 1/30th scale model of the Trostle Farm which will be featured in the June/July edition of Toy Soldier Collector magazine. In fact I have just completed a write up for the magazine of the action undertaken by the 9th Massachusetts Artillery Battery which took place right in the Trostle's backyard on the 2nd day at Gettysburg. Needless to say I'm looking forward to viewing what I'm sure will be yet another Marshall masterpiece.

And of course looking very forward to what is always the highlight of the show-1230 hrs category A muster usually accompanied with riotous laughter whilst chewing the cud with your goodself, Jeff, Simon, Alan, James, Andy, Kevin and any other Froggers who can join our Band of Brothers not forgetting our very own resident bar-maid as long as we can prise James away from her

Rob the London show is always an absolute pleasure.

Well the Trostle farm sounds superb Bob, look forward to seeing that, also look forward to seeing your goodself mate along with the other ranks of the Brit brigade. Should be another good one!

Have a good trip to the Canaries{bravo}}

Rob,

Please keep your eyes peeled for any Heco Tinplate Models at the show for me. If there are any, please let Clive Gande know, and he will grab them for me or for himself. Thanks!:smile2:

Hurraayy!!!! London show week!!!! ok U.K. friends what's on the shopping wish list for this weeks London show?? already looking forward to some pics and stories, been a little quiet on the London show thread, hope there's a good turnout for it, anyway hope you all have a blast, and don't forget to take the camera:)...Sammy

Well Sammy, mobilisation orders have gone out, the troops are quietly checking their kit, orders have been issued to cover all the stands not just the usual. Rob has been constrained from wearing his sequin covered underpants outside his trousers in Superman style and the hotel bar has been warned to double their normal order of his favourite tipple. All we need is some guests from your side of the Pond. When can we expect some representatives from our sister battalion? Trooper
