Okay, so maybe a bit early but with 9 weeks to go and Chicago showing us what should be available. Who is going to buy what?

Andy

Stuff. Definately going to buy stuff.
I reckon on adding to the desert village line from K&C + a variety of singls from the HJ releases and Brit / Canadian DD releases. Possibly the odd Market Garden release as well.
Probably pick up a couple of Ancient Egypt bits as I'm adding to that slowly.
I dare say that Mr Gande will end up with some molten plastic, just not sure what yet.
Also fancy taking a good look at the CS Easy Eight Sherman.

Otto is obviously calling, but I don't know yet.
I'm going to follow your advice of last March, by only bringing a fixed amount of cash to spend.
Along with a debit card, 2 credit cards, a cheque book and a variety of internal organs for part exchange opportunities, and a spare chandelier to replace the innevitable damage that will be caused in the bar. I seem to remember that process worked for you. :)

Yourself? Otto per chance?

Currently working on a particularly brilliant disguise so I can avoid Mr Gande.

I’m very keen on getting Figarti’s new German Locomotive but will have to add to it over the next year. I have also already ordered a whole host of Britains Zulu/Nile figures (the delay has helped me) Will also try to pick up the new K&C Winter Tiger and the downed Crimea Lancer. Other than that it will be a few JJD Sudan and RTM figures (Just to keep up to date).

Will like to see Figarti’s new 88 and JJD WWI aircraft, In fact looking forward to a number of releases and you never know Clive may have a few more surprises in store.

Otto is off the list.

Simon, are you tempted by the German train.

Poor Otto. So close.

Tempted by the train? Absolutely not. Not interested in the slightest. Couldn't use it if I had it, no place for it.

Well, yes actually. Still got another big space taker dilemma to resolve courtesy of Mr Gande.

As soon as I saw it, I wanted it....kinda like the wife but without the associated expense and the fact it won't give you a list of jobs to do at the weekend.

You know you want one.

Andy

:D

I know you know I want one. Unfortunately, so does Mr Gande........

Only 9 weeks!..........:D

Apart from all the new releases from the K&C UK Crimean range (including a few multiples) and whatever is new for the JJD Sudan range, not much else.... apart from at least one photo of the Barmaid ;):D

Jeff

C'mon now Jeff, you know that breaches the restraining order she slapped on you, Andy, James and Rob.
Thank goodness there are still some like myself and Kevin who hold true to the chivalrous traditions of the Brit.

Yo Jeff, don't listen to Wraith you carry on soldier, lets see some real beauty:D. Hope Yvonne doesn't read these post:eek:.
Bernard.

Already heard about some new releases which will be available at the show. New figures of demi brigade infantry for the Egyptian camaign and a new boat load for Quebec from ATS. A marching fife and drum band and infantry of the Sudan period from Asset plus some new figures for the Home Front series. Some new 30mm from Scarlet and Gold. New messdress figures from Sarum. Loads of new Zulu War figures from Little Legion including some attractive mounted vignettes. Plus there is a strong possibility of Brian Harrison making a reappearance with Yeomanry Miniatures. All in all should be a very good show.

Hi trooper,
that is very good news. I would be much interested in several castings by Yeomanry Miniatures for my British Empire Collection.
Hopefully Brian Harrison will make it.

Hi Guys,

I am very excited about this upcoming event as well since I am trying to get to it now that I am in Germany and its only an 1 or so by air. If I get there Britians will of course be high on the want list but so will some of the Tradition of London Crimean Sets if there are any to be had. Have to get some more 93rd boys to fill in my lines and back up my Britians sets.

Dave,
It would be great to meet you. Hope you can make it to the show.
Cheers
Simon

Dave,

It will be good to see you there, have you looked at ATS as they have a good line of glossy Crimean figures as well.

Simon,

I've broken - I preordered the Loco with you know who.

Andy

Yeah, I'm not proud, but same thing just happened with me. All the will power of a wilting lettuce leaf.
He's quite good at this sales stuff. Almost had me buying 12 HMS Victories at one point.

Before you guys completely ruin my reputation, I cannot legislate for people's obsessive compulsive disorder.;)
I simply phone or email for a chat, being the lonely sole that I am and lo and behold you guys want to throw money at me.
As you know I enjoy putting the world to rights much more than being a salesman.
Mind you with these pieces being so good who needs a salesman anyway?
See you soon.

Lurchio...

I think you should have been a psychologist instead of Figarti distributor!!!!!!lol
