Hi all, Had a fantastic visit to the Show yesterday. The new Venue is, in my opinion a success. Very bright and open - (alas no bar, but hey! ) It suited JJD UK's stand well.
They had obviously worked hard to present such a clean, easy on the eye, interesting and intelligent display. It was in a good position on the top floor to the right of the door as you entered. ( The venue was over 2 floors. )
I was given a very warm welcome from Adam, James and Matt - who were all in very good spirits! ( as always! ) Came away with the two new WW1 Groundcrew sets, the new Leuthen Grenadiers set, 3 of the new flight stands, the Udet Triplane, and another Albert Ball figure. Oh, and I took some pics. I'll post in batches so please bear with me.
1st off: L-R James, Matt and Adam. The JJD UK Team.jjd uk.JPG

The Leuthen Dio - with new figures! I am a great admirer of this series - and yes my theory was right! The 3 parts will be available seperately and if you so wish, leuthen1.JPGleuthen2.JPGleuthen3.JPGcould make up the complete walled perimeter. YESSSSS!

Hi Old Bill,
Great news that the Leuthen Dio will be coming......do you know when?
Cheers

James and Adam with an "Old Bill' Christmas card! Thank you once again James, Adam and Matt for such a fun visit. Here's to the next one!!Adam &James.JPG

Well done OB. Great pics, great stand, great displays, great figures from a great team. They will certainly be seeing the colour of my money on a regular basis from hereon in. Magnificent.

Hi Artillery_Crazy,

Great news yes! Sorry, I don't know when - Wish I did. I was hoping myself it would be out for Christmas. The series is slowly but surely taking shape so I guess we have to be patient a little longer!
However, I have heard there will be another "side" to the series.........

Thank you for your kind words on the pics - much appreciated!

Thanks for thegreat JJD pictures, Old Bill. Good sharp shots that highlight some great detail on the Whippet, Udet tripe, SCW tanks, and the very nice looking Leuthen series with structures. Lots of stuff to look forward to and wonder how to finance.:wink2: -- Al

Thanks so much Old Bill for your excellent photo coverage of the JJD booth at the London show. Almost as good as being there.

The Leuthen display looked great - much to look forward to. Also intrigued by your comment of ''another "side" to the series.........''

Great pics and thanks for posting. Love the new Fokker DR1! Chris

Hi Dragoon, Thank you very much for your kind comments!

Apologies are in order - that should have read: There MAY be another "side" to the series ( my typo error ). I was referring to a conversation I had recently,

but wouldn't like to repeat it as actual fact! ( but - I have my fingers crossed! )

Many thanks for the kind comments Chris! The new Fokker DR1 is a cracker - I wasn't planning to get one - but when I saw it at the Show - one somehow found it's way into my bag.
( Well that's what I told my wife!! )IMG_1207.JPGIMG_1204.JPGIMG_1206.JPG
