The thing to remember about the Foreign Legion figures in shot, is that these are not the finished article. Blake said work is still ongoing with them.

I know Blake reads this forum, so hello Blake! Was good to meet you yesterday and look forward to seeing some more of your designs. The new range you are considering will be a winner!

figures look nice painted as they are and, the AFV should be popular for those who like WWI

The poses are really good in the FFL figures, full of life..the particular i don't recall at the moment is the red piping of the coat..they were plain blue as in the infantry ..hope this range will include some Spahis and "Joyeux" (Battalions d'Afrique also known as Bat D'Af)..:)

Hi Blake and all......I second that and now on a count down to buying these great Legionnaires....

Will there be complementary sets with divisional machine guns and marching ..so we can replicate the Famous “ March or Die – with Gene Hackman, Catherine Deneuve , Beau Geste….or even a lesser known Legion film, but just packed as much with action - Legionnaire.”

Regards

Guys, have to say these new FFL figs are just superb, really well done and some terrific poses. There are Arab opponents on the way too. I'm really tempted by these.

Glad to see more Great War sets. was hoping for a different vehicle but its a keeper. Thanks for the
pics.

Just received this message from Tom: red piping on FFL is gone and the officer's gun has been changed ( gun was a WWII one)

Yeap,
Sent them screen shots of the correct period uniforms.....andfilm links from the Youtube so that more great ideas could be checked....:eek::):smile2:
Other than that they are just fantastic, crazy to get hold of a couple of them. TGN also mentions that sets in marching order and a machine gun battalion set ( Celebrated Hotchkiss divisional machine gun )are under way for some time next year..
So guys this is a promissing range and we will finally be abel to explore this great historical segment forgotten by all the other manufacturers even though in the 50s,60s,70s and 80s we would hear and see more books, movies and toy sets related to the Legion than any other obscure theater of war......
Cheers
