Mark Thormley at TM Terrain ( their site is www.tmterrain.com ) will be representing and showing all of our products in London this year. They will have actual sets ready for pre-order as well as the entire line from the factory! Sets will be available for delivery about 4 weeks after the show.

Mark and dave from TM are in our hall at the left hand end of our 'U' shape

Can anyone please kindly tell me if there is a 3 to 4 day room trading phase before the actual day of the London Toy Soldier Shows.

Is room trading unique to the annual OTSN Chicago shows only?

Thanks, Raymond.:)

Sorry to disappoint you, Raymond, the London show is a one day show. Traders either set up their stands the night before or early on the day. Few if any stay over at the hotel. Alan

Good Morning Alan,

Thank you very much for your helpful reply.

Great. It is a one day show with no pre and post activities.

This will facilitate my planning for one of the London shows at the Royal National next year.

Kind Regards, Raymond.

When you start your planning Raymond, don't forget the UK platoon of the Treefroggers will expect your presence in the bar at 12.30. Make sure you pack your favourite hangover cure and your drinking trousers. Watch out for Rob and UK Reb, if they suggest a game of Cardinal Puff opt out.

I'm almost afraid to ask. :) What are drinking trousers :)

Hey, why wasn't I told about the drinks..... last time was the March show last year, I spent 5 hours going around all the tables in both rooms, but only twice.. very exhausting. :)

It was a wonderful time meeting up with many people who I'd only via email, but it was like long lost friends!

Roll on next year, I'm hoping to make it to one of them...

You'd be very welcome John, the more the merrier. The December show is the highlight, its a wonderful atmosphere of collectors meeting up and ooing and aahing over the latest stuff. We then have a couple of hours in the bar where some of my fellow Brits behave very loudly and then weave our way back to the tables. We then tend to go our seperate ways, sober up and return in the evening for another get together.

We then make our way home across a nightime London, tired, broke, slightly drunk and very very happy!:);)

Or in Rob's case, Inverness, having fallen asleep on the wrong train. :)

Thanks very much for the note about the 12.30 rendezvous at the bar.

I gather this has become quite a tradition at the London show.

A good disguise might save me from the Cardinal Puff, not that anyone can recognise me.

Kind Regards, Raymond.:)
