Lords, ladies, gents and fellowtoy soldier pips!!

Before the romour/BS mill starts down the wrong route!!

Myself and Mike HAVE SOLD The Toy Soldier Show London.

The facts:-

to Whom?- Toy Soldier Collector (guideline publications) Reg Auckland and his business partner at Guideline.

When? The June show this weekend is our last one and as of DECEMBER 2011 it will be ran by the new owners.

Why? Running K&C UK is a big job and there is only 4 of us involved. My dad is 69 and should be easing up.........he is not. He also had a health scare and ALL IS OK but it definatly was a reality check.
Also and this is a big reason...........it is a pain in the arse! and very little thanks!

What happens now...................NOTHING THAT EFFECTS TRADERS OR CUSTOMERS the show will be running as normal and there should be NO CHANGE.

Are K&C UK at the show still?..............HELL YEAH we are ALWAYS going to be in our new own hall in HALL A

Are we rich beyond our wildest dreams?............Hell yeah and we will be running K&CUK now from the Britsih Virgin Islands to avoid paying tax whilst drinking jim beam on deck of our new super boat.............no we are happy to pass it on!! but of course there was a deal to be had.

So if anybody wants to know anything then ask away nothing to hide

Tony,

thanks for all your hard efforts in running the wonderful show.

Its been the highlight of my recent holidays to the UK, and I've planned my visits around when its been on.

You have done a great job and I'm sure it keep on, keeping on, you will still be there, but able to spend more time enjoying the occasion, and less time working.

See you next time I'm over,

Best wishes,

John

Tony thanks you for your service all year
Fortunately you do stay at the fair.
I try to get the show in December

Health is the most important thing. Best wishes to you both

...whilst drinking jim beam on deck of our new super boat....

So how long before we can expect a 60mm replica of said boat, cast in polystone, to appear in your catalog, Tony?

Also and this is a big reason...........it is a pain in the arse! and very little thanks!

As someone who works as a show organizer, I will say, "You speak the truth, my faithful Indian companion."

Prost!

So much for the rumor that the Nevilles were going to change the London Toy Soldier Show into the London "My Little Pony" Show (which was what someone kept mentioning in the suggestion box!).

you mean its not?! i guess i better go return my plane tickets if its not happening!

Thought I'd just chime in and say thanks to Tony for posting this, especially considering the rumours that were flying around at the show last week. I can confirm, as Tony already has done, that Guideline Publications owners of Toy Soldier Collector magazine (www.toysoldiercollector.com for which I am the sub editor only and not the owner or shareholder as rumours have suggested), have taken over the show from Mike and Tony.

I'd like to say a personal thanks to Mike, Tony and everyone at K&C for everything they're done with the show over the past few years and I hope it continues to go from strength to strength with Guideline's owners Alan Corkhill and Regis Auckland now in charge.
