Well, again I can't really add much to Gazza's usual very fine and very comprehensive photo's - and also Obee's this year!

Last time, I omitted to include photo's of Bruce's excellent Ready 4 Action stand. So - here's a bunch this time to make up. I will also put on a few pics of things that caught my eye when I have time.

Are you Ready 4 Action?

who made the last elephant in your post??

Thanks!
Tom

Hi Tom,

I take it you are referring to the Elephant bearing the Winged Lion emblem on it's side?

It was on the Maison Militaire stand, tucked away on it's own at the bottom of a half empty display cabinet.

I'm afraid I don't know the make but have a feeling it's Russian - St Petersburg probably.

Cheers,

Roy

I am not a great fan of the ultra real modern matte figures but that Bonaparte's "The Surrey's play the game" is brilliantly conceived and executed as well as being rather moving.

here is another picture of the Elephant you asked about - next to the Thomas Gunn elephant.

The larger one is indeed Russian - cant recall the exact manufacturers name but I inspected it and it was Russian. They were selling it on behalf of a customer for £550. I dont think it sold so might be back for the December show.
