Look no hands. (1 Viewer)

Nice one Wayne and good to see another 'myth' laid to rest. Looks like a mighty fine aircraft model to me.

Now, forgive me if I have missed something, but is there any ACTUAL evidence that the 262 model was a 'tail sitter' in the first place?

I just got the impression that based on the layout (and inclusion of a workbench kinda thing near the tail) in one of the photos announcing the arrival of the model that speculation started to run riot that the plane was unbalanced. This was denied by the K&C headshed but I get the feeling that once enough mud has been thrown at a product, some obviously sticks.

So, is there evidence to suggest that some are tail sitters (although the 'majority' are not) or was this just a myth taking legs and that the truth is that they're all perfectly fine with no tail sitters at all? Not trying to start an argument or debate, just wondering if any have actually been identified as being unbalanced?

I'm curious,

A few dealers have confirmed that some are tail sitters and have posted that on this forum, so yes some are tail sitters. After that, there is a lot of opinion and speculation but no hard info that I can see.
