The VC / NVA used coded signs on trails to indicate directions, warnings etc. The point man on this NVA patrol has spotted one such of them cut into the branch laying across the trail.

Great scene Steve. We used to find wooden arrow signs and other even more subtle signs along the many trails along both sides of the border. For vehicles, they would lay logs along both sides of the road so drivers at night could drive by "feel" bumping along the road, many that were masterfully camouflaged, especially from above. You have captured the scene perfectly

I only like dioramas with figures shown in them, hang on just spotted them, now it gets the tick of approval {sm4}, Robin.

Yet another great scene-looks like you did a repaint on the figures ?

Thanks very much Pat !:salute::
That's interesting what you say about the logs and I will remember that when I do another Ho Chi Minh trail set up.

great shots, you're a master in creating jungle scenes
well done again

THat vegetation is perfect. Certainly the WOW factor in realism. BTW, I worked with an army SF Sgt Major who spent 5 tours in VN. Used to tell us accounts of setting up ambushes on the trails. Chris
