I'm looking to King & Country's IWJ020 return Fire set. I'm still unpacking my collection after moving, and I just damaged one of my absolute favorite figures and even made it worse by attempting to fix it. I'm pretty bummed. It's the kneeling BAR gunner who's calling back to his mates in the picture below.

I'd like to buy the whole set from anyone who is willing to part with it. Or if anyone happens to have miscellaneous single figures, the BAR gunner is really the only one I need. If anyone can help me out, please PM here or send email to joesgis@yahoo.com. I really appreciate it! ....fingers crossed....

Happy New Year to all,
Joe

Joe,
Sorry, haven't got the set or figure, but was wondering how it was damaged and whether a repair could breathe new life in to it?

Joe,

I'm sure my guy can fix it, if you want to send me a photo to see how bad it is. He makes everything look better than new.

Hi Simon,
Thank you for the response and for suggesting I have it evaluated for repair. Hopefully Brad can save the day! I was removing the figure from the box, and the end of the gun barrel got hung up on the foam. I was moving slowly and being extra careful, but I still somehow managed to inflict significant torsional fatigue to the end of the gun barrel. It really twisted things up and a piece of metal from the below the barrel was swinging free{eek3}. I made it even worse upon my first repair attempt{eek3}{eek3}. But after revisiting it again (because I couldn't stop thinking about it:tongue:), I was able to make it much more presentable. But it's still not the same as it was. Looks OK from far away though!
It wouldn't matter so much if it wasn't such a meaningful figure to me or if it hadn't been retired so long ago. It most certainly would be a bit of a tough set to track down. Anyways, I would like to thank you and Brad for your thoughtful responses. I really appreciate it guys!

All the best,
Joe
