That's funny, I posted I wanted a DAK figure a week a ago. You posted that you had the figure. I PM you and ask how much you wanted for the figure. You replied, the figure is not for sale. A week later you have it up on EBAY with a starting Bid of $299. I was the cover bid on PM01 @$210. I PM Tim to buy PM01. He offered me PM02. I could not resist so I picked it up as well because I'm a collector.

There is a big difference between selling a figure that I have - which if you wanted why did you email and ask about it again - and having the poor tactics of going on someone's thread who looking for something and undercutting them.

How is listed that item not looking out for a forum member ? Am I suppose to sell it to you at your price - LOL Is it my responsibility to check back with you to see if you still want to buy a figure ? Whats next Government Run Toy Soldier Selling?

I would not go on someone elses post and undercut them for a figure - I would be the second offer - after the poster had a chance to buy - its call proper manners.

Here we go again about being "the true collector" - you were the one looking to buy something buy a figure on Ebay ?? So its OK to buy not sell ??

Its a little low to do what you did - face it. Since you outed yourself - there you go.

Was it not obvious, that anyone who nows your reputation was not going to sell you that figure? What I believe is low is that you PM and then air out in public. That's fine. I'm more than happy not to repond on your classied if you don't respond to mine.

Well I could be wrong.......but everyone, or most people know at least that I keep excellent records reguarding prices and what not.

I recall you looking for this exact same figure a few years ago.

Which is why I was so suprised to find you once again looking for it.

Good luck on that one Ron! PM01 just sold on ebay this week for $215 bucks and I think PM02 is even more rare so if you do come across one you can expect to pay around the same price???
I have both figures but if anyone here is willing to shell out $200 bucks each for them! Shoot me a private message!

It's funny, I've have received emails and PMs telling me what I already knew. I guess I didn't give him enough time to grind or get the violins out. Rest assured fellow Forum members, I don't need to step on anyones request. One of the thoughts I had was to buy the piece and use it to trade. That possibility is dead now.

Considering you are a General and have so many friends on the forum, you should have no problem getting PM02. Wishing you the very best.

My previous post was edited, so here is my second atempt to clear my position. I was interested in PM01. As per the above qoute, I was willing to shell out $200 bucks for PM01. I assumed nobody else was willing to shell out $200 for PM02 so, I bought it. I then get a PM that I acted inappropriately. I was more than willing to discuss the issue privately. However, before I could reply, it became part of the thread. Then I'm getting lectured on manners, and that my business practices are way off. If anybody needs references on how I do business, I can give you references. Thank you.

John

I was wondering when you would reappear in this.....

The answer is that I have never found this figure - never bought this figure - and never sold this figure.

That is why I am still looking for this figure.

Many members on the forum know this fact because I have asked them to help me find this figure for many years now.

Ron:

In that case it would probably be best to post that the item would be for your personal collection and never be sold.

I have been very lucky to have had several generous collectors come to my aid and provide me with specific items I was seeking for my collection, CF01, the Figarti Arnhem Figure, PM013 to name a few. These were gifts from people I consider friends and I would never consider selling them.

I can only imagine how one of these friends would feel if they saw me list one of these items for any reason.

It is different from an item purchased at a show, on ebay, or a deal made at current market value for an item.

If I were to obtain a second figure I would offer to return the one provided to me in responce to my requests for these figures.

I provided you with several early CF figures in a completely different circumstance. We agreed on a price and made a deal between two collectors. In that situation what you choose to do with those figures is entirely your business.:)

That being said, should you be missing this piece for your collection, I hope someone comes to your assistance and provides you with this piece.:)
