Does anyone know how this 1/32 scale plane would look with King & Country. It is called BBI Elite Force Dauntless Ultimate soldier??? I think that is the name? I might add I found this one on Ebay but it is available in China...I'm not a big fan of things being shipped overseas...anyone know where to aquire one here in the states?

Mark,

Is it wood or some other kind of material?

If you're looking to have a specific wooden plane made that K & C doesn't carry, you might take a look at Motion Models. They'll make them to order although not inexpensive.

It's palstic I believe. Im not so much into planes as to have someone custom build one. Thank You though for the info.

"How would they look with K&C?" - slightly smaller. Remember K&C is basically 1/30 scale, so a true 1/32nd plane might look slightly smaller, but each type of plane is a different size so the difference may not be readily noticeable. Depends on how picky you are. I haven't seen these SBDs but apparently BBI planes are well received by other collectors. At least they aren't covered with a rash of huge rivets like the earlier 21C planes.

As with many things in the hobby - if you like it, get it. If not, don't worry about trying to impress other collectors.

Blue Box makes a good product. I can't speak to how well it would fit with K&C products, but Blue Box's aircraft are worth collecting in their own right.

Not sure if they're actually made in the same factory as other 1/32--or 1/18--aircraft marketed by 21st Century and Ultimate Soldier as well, but they all might be.

Prost!

The 21st Century and FoV planes are very good. I think Andy has used them in dios.

There is a company called Admiral Toys, a couple of years ago, they made their entrance into the market with a splash, announcing a 1/18th Dauntless, meant to go with the 21st Century TBF and F6F. However, I never saw it outside of a hard copy catalog that I received, and today, there's no mention of it on their website.

I think they're all very worth collecting, and for scale modelers, they're good starting points for some kitbashing/detailing, too.

Prost!

I picked this one up recently...it almost looks like something I remember seeing in a brochure...nevertheless I like it! It was Titled as...Mahogany German JU-87 Stuka...I guess it's a wooden warbird?

That looks almost like one made by K&C but with a slightly different paint job.
