Hey everyone. A short while ago I purchased what was advertised as a K&C scenic piece, "DWT - Defense Work Trench". At the time I saw it listed as a WWI piece (which is why I bought it). I saw a subsequent listing by another seller as a WWII piece.

I'm wondering whether it really is a K&C piece, and if so, a) what's the model # and b) what war it belongs to. Any other information would be appreciated as well.

Here are some (rather poor) photos of them. One is an was taken by me, the other was the photo used to sell it:

Thanks,

Mark,

That is indeed a K & C piece. I have seen it used with WW II (Stalingrad series) as well as other periods.

Brad is right - this is a K&C "Official Diorama Piece" - however, it was made for the Old Rough Riders Range ! - This is suppose to be San Juan Hill - although you can use if for many other periods that have been listed.

The Spanish Figures are in the trenches and Teddy Roosevelt and the Rough Riders are suppose to be charging up the hill ! (see picture below)

I actually sold of all of my Rough Riders to buy Napoleonics and traded this Trench Works Piece for several SCOTS GREYS HORSEMEN ! :D

Really nice diorama piece.

Ron

It is San Juan Hill.

I remember using that piece to do Stalingrad dios in my front windows way back when.

Extremely fexible in its uses - WWII, WWI, Rough Riders, Civil War, Pacific, etc, etc.

It is definitely from the san juan hill series. I have two of them . One in the box and one has my 8th army australian and commenwealth troops defending it. Great piece

Thanks, everyone. It's a great piece but doesn't quite fit my needs.

I know this isn't the classifieds, but if anyone is interested in it feel free to PM.

If I owned the San Juan Hill/Spanish American War/Rough Rider range I might have felt differently. Before my time, but seems like a great range - hope it comes back some day.
