Guys, we've had the blue and yellow bowser for the RAF range, the Mickey Mouse green and black camo for Normandy, so, what are the odds we see the RAF set up base in the North African desert next year?. The forthcoming arrival of a desert bowser has to be a big clue to what may be coming probably next year?. The thought of a desert Spitfire, Hurricane, maybe a Kittyhawk etc is enough to send my cc into meltdown, but how fantastic would that be?!. The mind boggles at an RAF North Africa range and the figures and vehicles that would be associated with it. What do you think chaps, is K&C about to step into the dusty blue yonder?.

Lets hope so mate would be a great line to collect,well another great series..............{sm4}

I would be thrilled. I already have a desert Hurricane and desert RAF P40 Kittyhawk from the wood warbirds, and would love to have groundcrew, etc. to display them with.

So how about the new Bowser Louis, will you be adding this to your new and maybe forthcoming desert releases?. So far I have two on pre order, now I'm wavering on the third, my God this hobby is addictive!.

I have to see it before I decide. I opted for the blue and yellow bowser, but passed on the mickey mouse camo version.

What helps make these vehicles very attractive and collectable is that unlike some Tanks that get made now and again , it could be years before these are released again if ever, it's helped me put them up the priority list. Now I just have to decide on the third.

Good point when considering what to collect. Shermans and Tigers etc come and go but the 250 series, SL's, and the various unusual pieces that get released from time to time are what really attracts me as a collector because they may not come around again for a very, very long time.

By the way an RAF P-40 Kittyhawk with the shark mouth painted on it is definitely on my wish list. :smile2:

Check the Mosquitoville thread for photos of both my and Brad's RAF Sharkmouth Kittyhawk.

It would seem a natural progression for K&C to make RAF in North Africa bearing in mind that they have already released the desert Luftwaffe to great acclaim. Whilst a Spitfire in Desert colours would just be fantastic, for me the scourge of Desert German armour the Hawker Hurricane MkIID would be the ultimate RAF Desert aircraft. Armed with two 40mm Cannon it quickly earned its knickname of the tin/can opener and this aircraft became legendary in the theatre.

That would be AWSOME
8th Army is one line i'm keeping up with
KC Churchill will be proud of u

I was wondering where I may use my desert Tilly when I first got it, but if Andy does venture the RAF to North Africa then it's ready and waiting for service!.

I'm getting the blue one & hopefully the desert one! I'd definitaly buy into a desert RAF range as the top 2 ranges I collect are RAF & 8th Army, so it would be natural to continue into that range.
