Lieutenant Nevill Josiah Aylmer Coghill was born in Drumcondra, Co. Dublin, Ireland on 25 January 1852. He died with Lieutenant Teignmouth Melvill trying to save the Queen's Colour from Isandlwana on January 22nd 1879. The men crossed the Buffalo River but lost their horses and were eventually killed by Zulus. The Colour was swept away by the currents of the river but was later recovered. They were the first two individuals to receive the VC posthumously in 1907.

This is the new MODELZONE EXCLUSIVE - 39006 - Lieutenant Coghill 1st Bn. 24th Regiment, 1879. It is the companion figure to MODELZONE EXCLUSIVE - 39002 - Lieutenant Melvil, 1st Bn 24th Regiment Saving the Queen's Colour

It is a nice figure but one I will pass on as it I think it is too expensive plus it falls outside of the WB zulu numbering system.

I can understand if it's too expensive but because it falls out of a numbering system?I don't get that.Sorry Scott.

Just mean that is classed by WB as a connoisseur figure so there wont be a break in my collection because I didn't purchase it. Just me being picky I guess Mark LOL

Still in two minds,is it a want or a need:confused:
I cant decide if its really worth £102.50,verging on way too expensive for my tastes i might as well purchase the following for the same price:
Grenadier Guards 18 piece Band set, exclusively produced for Modelzone £99.99?????
