The Egyptian Obelisk, The Pair of Pharaohs, and two Sphinx were delivered to my door this morning. Once again my thanks goes out to Julie for assisting with this very lucky and fortunate additions to my Discovering Tutankhamun collection. Here's a quick pic of my shelf diorama now.

The locals and tourists never tire of the grandeur of Luxor.

Looking great Mike! And yes, Treefrog is an indispensable one-stop for collectors looking to get caught up with long retired items.

Glad to see you have been able to gather so much of the range so quickly Mike and great to see them out set out in your display (y)

Now that’s a full house Mike. This has come together rapidly and it demonstrates what can occur once you set your mind on a theme. Lots of setups in this lot. Robin.

I truly have been very lucky Steve considering less than 4 weeks ago I was only thinking about collecting this series.

Most impressive Mike !

Thanks Mike

Yes Robin, I do believe the shelf is full. Still have a few figures in the pipeline that can be got in. Lots, and lots of stories can be developed for sure

Brilliant stories Mike on all of the last 3 threads 👏. Keep posting. Paul

Something about the Gold look that runs true to the Egyptian theme Mike. Robin.

My wife thinks so too Robin. I used the "honey" filter that's available on my android phone camera to enhance the photo. The "desert" filter also gives a nice effect.

THX Paul. More to come for sure.

Watched the 1955 Howard Hawkins production of "The Land of the Pharaohs" starring Jack Hawkins and Joan Collins this afternoon. Huge production, cast of thousands, and rather cheesy. I had bit of a time excepting Jack Hawkins as Pharaoh Khufu. Still worth the watch if you like campy ancient Egypt movies.
