LWG014-023 Late War German Waffen SS and Panzergrenadiers (1 Viewer)

Don't really understand the angst against these figures?

First Legion did the exact same thing with the SS tank riders, released them in Heer and more white outfits. No real difference here, just adding options for collectors who may prefer regular Germans vs SS. I like it as there's stuff to please every collector.

It's not like FL is not making new figures. They just released a bunch of brand new Winter SS and there will be brand new grey Stalingrad Germans coming up.

Seems like folks complaining just to complain.

Some of the reactions in this thread are interesting to say the least. As has been pointed out, many companies release painting variants of their figures and we are no exception. I think the issue perhaps that some have taken is that we didn't release the painting variants at the same time, but rather produced them later, as if it's somehow different. We have done this before and will continue to do this. Further, the BB figures are "winter figures" in terms of equipment but many are not wearing snow camo because at the start of the battle it wasn't snowing. So the Late War German series allows us to provide winter camo of the figures in the BB series. We did this with the tank riders, we did it with the KT, we did it with the Stug, and now have done this with the follow up figures. So I'm not sure why anyone would be surprised by this as we have clearly set a precedent on this already. Further, the original release of the BB figure variants is mostly sold out which means that many of the sculpts would not be available at all without these figures.

Finally, the pricing is the same or LOWER than the original figures, not higher, primarily due to less camo painting.
