I'm always hoping for a return of the D-Day Ranger series. LTC Rudder had a platoon of these halftracks organized with 2nd Ranger Battalion, much the same way that COL Darby had them with the Ranger Force in Italy. Rudder's vehicles came ashore at Omaha beach on D-Day, and eventually 2 made it to his small perimeter at Pointe du Hoc.

That would be a unique addition. Don't think anyone has done one yet. Would be a good addition to the Kelly's Heroes series. These also served in the Pacific. Chris
 
Chris, if my memory serves me, I believe Figarti made one of these in British colors, but not in US. -- Al
 
You're right and they did a USMC WWII Pacific War version (Bloody Tarawa):

...That's along the lines of my thinking... either Kelly's Heroes (though I think theirs were 105mm) or the Ranger cannon platoons.
