A great set from the past is DD038 M8 Greyhound. I love this set and especially like the 2 82nd Airborne standing figures that come with it. Here are some various photos of the set.

Nice scene and pic's Duke and I agree, the M8 Greyhound set is awesome and I reckon the vehicle works well with the new M20 Armoured Car.

Agreed, the M8 is one of K&C's classic pieces and came with two full figures! Ah the good old days. {sm4} This piece still stands up well. I wasn't collecting in time to pick it up back in the day and have always seen it in the secondary markets for a small fortune. The new M20 is a nice option. One of these is definitely going to find its way into my collection eventually.

Sets like these, i.e. AFV sets that come with additional standing figures for display outside the vehicle are some of my favorites. They are probably a thing of the past with the cost of things today, but there have been several over the years that K&C has done that I really enjoy having in my collection. Some of those favorites are: WS070 Winter Tiger ; BBA015 General Inspection ; BBA008 Wolf in Sheep's Clothing ; AK039 Desert Tiger ; DD049 Weapons Carrier ; EA016 Desert Vickers and there are a couple more but these I really like the best. Some of these like General Inspection, Winter and Desert Tigers come with multiple figures where you have an instant small diorama without the need for any more figures, just some scenics. Of course today with all of the great figures and AFV's that K&C is producing, creating a scene is made easy with all the choices available, but these old sets will always have a special place on the shelf and I doubt I would part with any of them.
