In September the New York Historical Society on the upper West Side of Manhattan will feature
an exhibit on the Battle of Brooklyn. I am building a diorama for them with the help of several
friends and makers in our hobby. Not a "major" diorama but close to 200 figures and very innovative
graphics. There will also be uniforms, firearms and paintings from the period.
The Battle of Brooklyn (or Long Island) was the largest battle of the American Revolution and the
first battle after the Declaration of Independence.
If you are in Manhattan between September and January stop by. The museum is right across the street
from the Natural History museum and has a very good restaurant (Storico).
