We at Treefrog were able to aquire a good quantity of the GPA Jeeps and the Damaged Panther. These were very nice sets, but the mass production costs in Argentina drove the prices beyond what some people chose to afford.

The GPA originally sold for $170 - they are now only $75!!

The Damaged Panthers originally sold for $190 - now they are $99!!

The quality is well worth the price.

Every version of these items is on sale. Click here to see them all. We are waiting for a shipment of the Winter Panther, so if you order that we will ship it when it arrives.

If I did not own the K&C Panther, I would jump on it, but at some point, I just have to learn to be satisfied with what i have. It is a good deal on a fine tank.

I already have the damanged Panther. It looks great near the Bergepanther

Personally I've always thought it was a great set with interesting subject matter. Lets face it, mechanical breakdowns and terrain challenges were more of a problem than enemy fire.

At this price you can't lose.

Hi guys,

I'm thinking of getting one.

Which one do you think is the best?

The winter one really catches the eye, but with the other 2 i can use the K&C tank crew figures.

I should clarify - the winter panther we are awaiting is the damaged one, not the regular version (which is no longer available).

Sorry for the confusion.

Pete

Hi Peter,

thanks for the clarification.

any more items you guys bringing from Argentina?

HB is notoriously slow in releasing their excellent products.

At $99 a pop, the Winter Panther is just too good to pass up. I just talked to Mandi and she told me that the Panthers, especially the Winter ones, are flying off the shelf so if you're thinking about these, I wouldn't wait too long.

For now, this is it. Not sure what other small gems they have hidden down on those shelves. I know they have a few bits that were cast but never painted or assembled. Wonder if there would be a market for that.

We'll keep you posted.

Which set is this?

I am really torn up about this. I have spent so much and am trying to hold off to see how the smoke clears.

Hi kilted vampire,

its up to you what you want.

i'm considering the winter damaged panther, but with the other 2 models i can use the K&C crew set.

What camo sceam do you have Frank?

And any reason why?

I looked at the Bergepanther, and with this broke down Panther I'm thinking of going for it.

Paul

I compared the 3 for some time and decided to order the Damaged winter version. I think its the nicest of the 3.:)

Unfortunately it's the one that we're waiting on...

For the quick HB fix, the others are ready now :D

Does that mean the winter breakdown Panther can't be preordered? Can you only order it when you have in stock?

Thanks,
Paul

Hi Paul,

I have the 3 color (dark yellow, red brown, green) Panther. I bought both the Bergepanther and the damaged Panther in this classic mid/late war scheme. I felt this scheme was the most versatile for spring, summer, fall scenarios.

I really liked the winter version as well but in the end the tri color won.

BTW The Bergepanther is an underated piece IMO. It's a cool vehicle useful for a variety of dioramas.

In order to get the sale started, we made an exception for this one item.

Normally our web site informs people that an item is out of stock. However, once a retired item is out of stock the web site automatically removes it, and we didn't want that to happen. This allows the damaged winter panther to be pre-ordered even though it's technically retired.

Hope this makes sense.

It might just be easier to contact Treefrog directly and tell them you want one.
