If We Are Going To Pay A Higher Price For Kc Than Tiger And Panther Tanks For Example Should Be The Right Scale. How Many Times Have You Seen Pictures Of German Troops On Tanks And Then Try To Picture That On Some Of Kc's Recent Issues. I Have Stood Next To And On These Tanks And I Am 5'9 And They Are On The Small Side. . It Would Be Grat To See A Full Size Jadgtiger

You are right, the figures are too large for the vehicles. It seems that it has always been this way, even in the '70s with the Monogram and Revell models. The K & C and Honour Bound tanks fit quite well with the 1/32 figures such as Britians and Conte. The figures I display closer to the vehicles are 1/32 figures. So if K & C figures are getting smaller I am Ok with that (Although I'm sure the 1/30 purists won't be).

 If Andy was going in the direction to a 1/32nd Scale; then what Sense, does it make to Buy MOST of Andy's Products; when you could go to BRITAINS,FRONTLINE, FIGARTI, ETC? Then, 'Why', would one want to spend ALL of their Cash Only on one Toy Maker? Andy, would be Cutting his own Throat, and Losing Money! And, I"M a Purist, if that's Calling a Collector, who ONLY sees the 1/30th Scale, in One's Favor!

Personally now that K&C has changed their scale its seems alot of older items won't fit with the new scale. The new figures are definately 58mm not 60mm anymore. I guess its to get us to buy the new releases. I love K&C and have been an avid collector for a while but whats up with the ever changing size of all of the figures?

I can't answer the reasons why, but I can say that this isn't a K&C exclusive.
Of those figures I collect, both past and present, metal and plastic, I can't think of one, whose scale or figure proportions, have remained constant and they include K&C, HB, NMA, Del Prado, Conte, TSSD, Airfix etc. The Figarti 1/32 figures I have, show the least change in scale / proportions.
Not a complaint, merely an observation.

Has anyone compared the new Arnhem figures to the first and second series?

Gil

That would be a little difficult as the new MG series isn't out yet:confused:

I actually find that the figures for the inside of K&C vehicles are actually in about 1/35 scale. The Panzer Meyer halftrack is a good example.
