Just finished reading Manhattan South by John Mackie on my Kindle. Excellent police story about the Russian mob in New York. The key bad guy is a cold-blooded Russian assassin. A loner, he lives only for--and interacts intellectually with--his toy soldier collections that take up virtually his entire apartment. Fascinating!
