Very nice! After so much fightings some relax! {sm3}

So this must be Gibbie's dad down on the farm. Nice to see Guy's dog getting to chase rabbits before being run down by a car. Cheers, Robin.

Gentlemen thank you. I did this little picture in tribute to my dog / great mate Max, it was with heartbreaking sadness that today we had to bring his suffering to a end as he was ill and went swiftly downhill over the weekend, he was my loyal and steadfast shadow for nearly thirteen years, he was always there, he never let me down, he lived a good dogs life and will be forever missed. I hope you will forgive me this indulgence.
Wayne.

Wayne...my condolences...I'm a dog owner too...and I know you're hurting...I do like your picture...nice tirbute...

Wayne ,I understand your sadness! . I had several dogs myself and I still do own one . It is always sad if you have to part from your best friend. My German shepherd had cancer, my Rottweiler ( the best and most friendly dog I ever had as my companion)had a fatal liver disease. Now I have a new dog a "Spanish water dog"( like Obama's dog) He never leaves me , if I move one step he moves one as well, very loyal and very friendly with kids. My advice is : take a new puppy asap that will take away part of the pain.

Wayne:

So sorry for your loss.

This might help:

The Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to somone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.There are meadows and hills for all our special friends so they can run and play together.There is plenty of food, water, and sunshine and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor;those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing:they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance.His bright eyes are intent;his eager body quivers.Suddenly he begins to run from the group.Flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted.And when you and your special friend finally meet you cling to each other in joyous reunion, never to be parted again.The happy kisses rain upon your face;your hands again caress the beloved body.And you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet.So long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together...
